This South Golden Beach residence is a great four bedroom family beach house. Clad in mountain blue Colorbond, maintenance is reduced in this highly corrosive environment. The brief for this renovation project was to add a master bedroom and ensuite above the garage on the front of the house and an extra bedroom, rumpus room and laundry with a wooden deck on the back. The result is a much larger home with a bedroom retreat for mum and dad that even has their own private verandah. There is also space for the all the kids utilizing the existing bathroom as their own and giving them their own space in the rumpus room.

The charming entrance invites you up the timber steps and through the leadlight doors to a funky homely beach house perfect for the north coast lifestyle. Bob Acton delivered a great result with the advantage that his construction drawings made building straight forward and economical.
